Who controls your data

What we collect

Aggregated analytics about pages viewed, approximate region and device type. Anything you put in an email to us, kept only as long as the conversation needs. Nothing else — there are no accounts on this site, no logins and no payment processing, so there is nothing sensitive to lose.

What we do not do

We do not sell data. We do not share it with the brands we review. We do not build advertising profiles, run retargeting or operate a newsletter. Affiliate links pass a referral identifier to the brand so a signup can be attributed; they do not pass your identity, because we do not have it.

Cookies

A small number, described on our cookies page. Essential ones keep the site working. Analytics ones are aggregated. You can refuse the non-essential ones and nothing on the site will break.

How long we keep things

Analytics are retained in aggregate for 26 months. Email correspondence is kept while the matter is open and deleted afterwards unless it is a correction we need on record.

Your rights

Under GDPR and comparable US state laws you can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address above and we will respond within 30 days. We do not require you to prove a reason.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will date the change at the top of this page rather than update it silently.
